Methodological Challenges in Childhood and Family Research

Abstract

The edited book collects the plenary lectures and workshop papers presented in the international conference of "Methodological Challenges in the Childhood and Family Research" organized at the University of Tampere in October 24th-25th 2007. The conference debated and discussed methodological challenges facing researchers today. Conferences exclusively concerned with methodological issues have become rather scarce on the ground, and the primary aim of the conference was to give a multidisciplinary forum where researchers with different methodological interests and experiences could exchange their experiences and ideas.
