| Tiivistelmä: | Business Model of a Persistent Mobile Game reports some of the findings from the interdisciplinary research project MOGAME, which was focused on the opportunities and challenges for implementation of a persistent-world mobile game. The research points out that there are important possibilities opened by such key features as location information and communication capabilities for the future of mobile game design. At the same time, this research also demonstrates that there are significant challenges slowing these developments. As calculations in this report point out, it would be unprofitable to offer this kind of game with current level of operator service pricing. |
